2018 Honda Accord Sedan vs. Its Competition

The Honda Accord and Toyota Camry perennially duke it out for top spot among sedan shoppers.

The Camry is also new this year, and much better to drive than before, but lacks the interior and exterior finesse of the Accord.

The Sonata has a similar powertrain lineup to the Accord, but it’s not as polished and misses out on the advanced 10-speed from Honda.

Nissan offers an increasingly rare V-6 in its Altima, and is the pick if you want (almost too much) power.

The Subaru Legacy is the lone mid-size sedan with standard all-wheel drive, but lacks the verve of the Accord.

The Chevrolet Malibu offers a sharp base 1.5-liter turbo-4, similar to the Accord, but we’re not as sold on its exterior style.
