2019 Ford Fusion vs. Its Competition

2019 Ford Fusion

Our favorite mid-size sedan is the Honda Accord, which we named our Best Car to Buy 2018.

Its broad lineup makes the Fusion feel like yesterday’s news, even if we still like the way the Ford looks a little more.

The Mazda 6 finally got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a turbo-4 engine to match its svelte shape and terrific dynamics.

The Toyota Camry remains popular.

We like it the most as a hybrid, where it doesn’t try to be too much more than it is.

This year’s newsmaker is the 2019 Nissan Altima, a new design with available all-wheel drive and a turbo-4 option.

The all-wheel-drive Subaru Legacy is still one of our faves (and our Best Car to Buy 2016), even if it’s a perennial underdog in the sales charts.
