2019 FIAT 500e vs. Its Competition

The Fiat 500e isn’t very common and it doesn’t match well against competitors, all of which have longer ranges.

The Tesla Model 3 is the electric vehicle that seemingly everyone wants, and a low-priced version more than doubles up on the 500e’s range for nearly the same price—before applicable incentives.

The Chevy Bolt EV is a better car for more uses, its range of more than 230 miles is much better.

The Honda Clarity electric has a short range (89 miles, according to the EPA) but can comfortably seat four.

The Nissan Leaf has a longer range—151 miles or more—and is more widely available.

If a two-seater city car is a must, the Smart Fortwo is electric only, but with a shorter range than the 500e it’s very impractical.
