The Honda Fit is nearly a micro-van, or MPV as the Europeans would term it, with a surprising amount of passenger and cargo room in its myriad configurations; its handling and looks however leave much to be desired.
The Toyota Yaris is even less exciting, but it has a proven track record of reliability, and smart Toyota packaging means it is as useful as it is dull.
Ford's Fiesta is also somewhat prone to the size complications of the 500, but with rear doors, it is much more practical as a three- or four-passenger car, and it has its own, edgy modern style.
