2015 Ferrari FF vs. Its Competition

The Ferrari FF is one of the most versatile super-fast luxury cars on the planet -- especially if you don't want a car with the profile or more formal proportions of a sedan or wagon.

Alternatives, therefore, are largely compromises.

Ferrari's own F12 Berlinetta is even more powerful, even faster, but considerably less spacious, especially when it comes to cargo.

The Bentley Continental GT is likewise a bit short on luggage space, but in Speed form, it's very quick, all-wheel drive, and suitably exclusive.

Audi's R8 is another call-up from a league below the FF, but again, it has standard all-wheel drive, a potent V-10 engine is available, and it's very quick.

The Lamborghini Huracan, as well, includes all-wheel drive but doesn't come close to offering the FF's level of hatchback (or shooting brake) convenience.

Finally, the Nissan GT-R offers performance numbers that are even better than those of the FF, acceleration-wise; its handling is phenomenal as well, but everything about driving (or being a passenger) in the GT-R is quite direct and harsh.
