This rather odd assortment of competitive alternatives is based more around the Ferrari FF's functionality and price point than any direct competition between them.
Audi's R8, for example, offers V-10 power and quattro all-wheel drive, but without the compact wagon-like cargo area.
Ferrari's own F12 Berlinetta is even more powerful and dramatically styled than the FF, but again, lacks the utility of the cargo area.
Bentley's Continental GT is priced similarly to the FF, and offers ample performance and a fair amount of cargo space.
The 2013 Cadillac CTS-V is the odd man out of this group on price, starting at around $60,000, but with 556 horsepower and a true five-door station wagon version available, it's capable of many of the same feats as the FF for a fraction of the price.
