2021 BMW X7 vs. Its Competition

2021 BMW X7 goes sinister with Dark Shadow Edition
Robert Duffer Robert Duffer Senior Editor

The large BMW X7 isn’t quite as large as the full-size Lincoln Navigator or Cadillac Escalade, but it has plenty of luxurious competition with mild-hybrid systems.

The Audi Q7 is smaller, especially in the third row, but comes loaded with impressive standard safety features.

Redesigned last year, the GLS stretches out past the GLE into Maybach territory with sumptuous luxury.

Relaunched for 2017, the Discovery’s infotainment can feel dated even if the design is timeless.

The Lincoln Aviator has the luxury bona fides of the Navigator, but it can fit in the garage.

The Volvo XC90 continues to impress with attractive styling and good standard features, but lacks the performance options of the Germans.
