2017 Bentley Mulsanne vs. Its Competition

At the pinnacle of the luxury executive limousine market, there are really only three players: the Bentley Mulsanne, the Rolls-Royce Phantom, and the newcomer, the Mercedes-Maybach S Class.

At about half the price of the Bentley or the Rolls-Royce, yet offering much of the same performance, comfort, quality, and feel, the Mercedes-Maybach is the "value" play of the group.

That bargain pricing and familiar S-Class exterior may be negatives, however, for those seeking exclusivity.

The Bentley and the Roller approach the segment in a similar manner, but the Bentley adds more performance to the mix, especially with the Speed model.

Quick Specs
The new Extended Wheelbase model only makes the 2017 Bentley Mulsanne more of what it was meant to be: a heroically impressive hyper-luxury limousine.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class lineup is more diverse than it's ever been and is still the benchmark by which all full-size luxury cars should be measured.
With a price tag to match, the Rolls-Royce Phantom soldiers into its last year before a redesign as desirable as ever.
