Nice styling re-do and great ideas on the radiator shutters, tailgate step assist which doubles as a bed extender but horrible, unneeded complexity on the wheel shutters. Can you imagine those in snow? Just design a solid wheel for pete's sake ! Atlas ? Nah, Super Duty far more appropriate and logical.

Nice truck, but will soon need a small truck replacement for my 1986 Toyota 2WD with 408,000 miles. Read that Ford said there was no demand for small truck, so they dropped the Ranger, yet I still get people walking up all the time asking if I want to sale my 26 year old truck as they can't buy a new small truck. As for gas mileage on that 2.4L 4-cylinder, 25mpg mixed (my normal driving) and 32mpg highway even though it was only rated 29mpg. Don't need a step to climb into the bed as can lean over the rails and load from side up to 1/2 ton which is enough for yard care supplies. Bring back a real small truck Ford!

The GM truck links in the article do not work.

Not sure GM or Chrysler can match this. There's a lot of tech here that goes way beyond what trucks are known for. But Ford recognizes that many buyers aren't going to be hauling lots of messy construction materials every day. This one is a real step up in the truck game and is why Ford stays on top!

Ford is always stepping up with style and innovation. This will be my husband new truck when are able to get it. Our year for 2012 ended with our van being total, got hit by a deer and me being really sick and still trying to recover. My husband will not consider anything else for a truck but a Ford. He loves all the technology and is impressed with the way Ford continues to improve with all their automobiles.
