    Hyundai seems to be a superb job. Not only are they producing great looking vehicles with excellent mpg's.
    Look at their warranty, 5 years 60,0000 miles. all with nice pricing at all levels.
    All these put together makes for a very worthy opponent for other auto companies.

    The first Hyundai to break the $30,000 price barrier here in Australia was the 1991 Sonata - the top of the line model was $30,990 at the time, and rose to a high of $38,990 in 1995. Today, you can get a top of the line i45 (Sonata) for $37,490 here, which is $1500 less than it cost 16 years ago!

    @David, what's the perception of Hyundai as an automaker in Australia? Do people see Hyundai's as price-centric cars, or a mainstream brand on par with Holden, Honda, etc.?
