I do have a Sienna that I love (this comes from a former GTO driver, so what) but I think that Ford Flex is totally awesome. My ultimate would be a Suburban w/ hybrid (not sure why they only make Tahoes this way) with 20 MPGs all around but I'll settle for a LEAF now :-) Nice variety there - no?

I once designed expensive experimental cars at the General Motors Technical Center and reviewed the teardown of competitor's cars following the Proving Grounds Durability runs. A hand built car like the Rolls Royce did not impress me then. The mass produced Chevy Impala was more of an achievement.
Today my favorite cars are Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla - nearly perfect all things considered. If they were only ones in existence the entire world population could be transported in them. Station wagon versions would satisfy all needed except for commerce.

It sure isn't the Ford Flex you have in your intro!

The "acid test" for KIA/Hyundai will be how well they stand behind their generous warranty program.
This personal warranty experience with Honda is what drove me away from being a loyal owner(4 cars)to "NO MORE HONDAS FOR US".

The Dodge Journey is the perfectly sized vehicle. Also, we have a Dodge Avenger, lots of room and great mileage!
