    Another solution would be to sell your older car and use thsi cash to repair your newer ones. Il you really live with only one car then this option is fantastic as it frees up your income for other projets and investment while your primary car is maintained tholouhly for a number of years and you may end up a few years later with a car with a greater value because the mainteance was of a higher standard.

    This is exactly what we are doing with our 2004 Honda Accord with 86k miles....hanging on it for at least 2 more years.
    Was going to trade it on a 2011 Honda CRV but because of Honda's lousy Customer Relations Dept. out in Calif.(long story)we decided to hang on it longer.
    PS This is my LAST Honda car because of how Honda treats it customer base.
