BS! The best car I ever owned was a 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXI sedan with the 2.7L V-6. My son is driving this car to school everyday with 165,000 miles on the odometer and not a creak or rattle to be found. My friend is right about your commentary. You are bias and uninformed.

The commentary is ok but it wasn't that they hated it... The great majority would literally kill for a car like that (and I'm sure it happened a few times already.) It's just that it's too expensive for the mass market in Russia. They may have their oil, gold, Maybachs and BMWs but an average Russian still gets screwed big time by the criminals running ALL the businesses and the gov't.

@rickmyers: There are a few things that you may have overlooked. The engine is only 141HP, yours is 200HP. For the vehicle of this size and weight it is very low. And, for $18,000US in Russia you can buy a smaller, but more responsive car with more features, and better reliability than AutoGAZ is known for, like Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Chevy Cruz, etc. Many people would rather go for gently used German cars before buying a brand new one for the same price - auto service and parts are much cheaper than in North America.

Just traded in my 1998 Chrysler Sebring LX. Good car-- Had so much wrong with it. Had over 130,000 miles on it. Awesome car--Will be missed!!
