Its a shame about Mercedes C-class wagons. I have a 2002 C-320 Wagon. Its a great car, 240,000 kms and drives like it did when i picked it up used with 36,000 km on it. I expect to keep it form many more years, but if MB brought the C-class wagon to North America again (I'm in Canada), I'd line up to buy another!

Can it really be true that Honda/Acura will FINALLY offer a trim, sleek, understated clean design here in the US, rather than boxy SUVs or bulky over-styled crossovers? Place my order now.

So true! I'm at the cusp of gen y and gen x and I totally want a wagon. I'm leaning toward hyundai elantra touring -- price is coming down $1800 this fall for the 2010 model.

And, why not include the Toyota Venza? Do you consider it uncool?

1: props for knowing your Aussies!
Subaru discontinued the Legacy wagon for 2010 in favor of Outbacks only - perhaps they should reconsider that
    A Legacy 2.5GT wagon w/ 6-speed is my dream Q-ship

Don't forget the Mazda 6 wagon or the Ford Mondeo wagon or the almost invisible Subaru Legacy wagon...even, from the Oz market, the Holden Commodore Sportwagon and the Ford Territory.
