    Over the last 20 years, ALL vehicles are getting stiffer and stiffer due to auto pundits demanding for it. Those of us who prefer a non-third world ride have to suffer because of this. If you want a stiff ride then go buy a sports car and leave the rest of us alone.

    I tried to be manly and not complain, but the back of the Vibe is brutalized over bumps, and any Tennessee road is riddled with rough spots. I find myself playing swerve games to avoid the ruts on our main roads because the ride is so rough. I traded for the gas mileage, but I almost wish I had the truck back because the ride was so much more comfortable.

    "Too Stiff?"

    I am really sick of fellow Americans complaining about car suspensions being too stiff. Those complaints are the reason the handling of many American vehicles is neutered as compared to European rides. If you want a Buick, drive a Buick. Stop compelling car companies to ruin it for the rest of us.
