Can anyone explain why so many of the new fuel efficient cars are not available in the US in 2009. Does we not need them? What's up with that deal, eh?

  • JKD Posted: 10/1/2008 10:41pm PDT

Wow - so defensive, Ed :-) The first one who smelt it, is the one who dealt it... A troll smells like a troll no matter which cave it came out of. Your constant bashing in your Huhnda-centric world will not get you banned but vulgarities and personal insults will (maybe even sued), so keep going.

Let's calm it down, kids. Don't make me have to come down there.

  • Ed Posted: 10/1/2008 11:20am PDT

If FIGURES that the DUMBASS JKD thinks I am the same person as "accordsforall". I NEVER EVER posted with that name. PERIOD, village idiot JKD. Get it?

  • Ed Posted: 10/1/2008 11:18am PDT

JKD: What part of "I AM NOT A MIRROR" don't you understand, Village Idiot?
Will this retard ever shut the hell up?
Who does this pitiful moron think he or she is?

  • JKD Posted: 10/1/2008 10:32am PDT

HondED - yes, your comments are inspiration to all, even the mighty Marty.
Can't we ban this troll, otherwise known as accordsforall??? It will get f-up here pretty quickly unless smth is done :-(

My earlier comments here (Sept. 1) were taken and pasted to this article, dates oct. 1, and of course they are NOT relevant here. Actually, THIS newsitem shows that MANY fuel efficient cars, and many very Consequential cars (and not just the Volt, but also the CRUZE< the Golf VI , the new Honda Insight (Prius clone) and others willbe shown.
I hope they give us the FULL TECH DETAILS and ESP. ACCCURATE FUEL CONSUMPTION and performance Figures.

    Actually Ed,
VW does offer the TDI 7 pass Touran that's good for 40mpg....they just doesn't sell it here in th US.

  • Ed Posted: 9/1/2008 6:44am PDT

I see that all automakers were caught with their pants down. Nobody offers a useful practical vehicle with SUPERIOR MPG (30s/40s/50s) that families can buy in the MILLIONS. the FIRST that will do so, will get filthy rich.

Enjoy the site and just wanted to point out the following in regards to BMW:
The X1 will not be built by Magna, it will be built by BMW in Leipzig as it is based on the 1 series and 3 series. This was formally announced at the end of May. Paris will also debut the F01/F02 7 Series as well as the LCI (Life Cycle Impulse/ "Facelift") E90/91 3 series.
The next generation Z4 (E89) is expected in Concept form as well.
The MINI SAV will be built by Magna Steyr in Austria.
BMW will have a large show presence.
