Like a truck, but easier to park & better MPG

We love our new 2010 Transit Connect XLT. It has TONS of cargo room, a storage shelf above the front passenger/driver area for maps and such, enough room to stand stooped in the back end, and it gets excellent gas mileage (25-27 MPG so far). We can put 5 dog kennels in there with a bunch of hunting/camping gear and a (removable) built-in bunk and foam mattress that fits over the kennels with plenty of clearance for 2 people to sleep.
