2005 Malibu, a hidden gem of fuel economy in a plain looking car

Pros:I believe there are 2 real aspects of the 2005 Malibu that make it stand out. The car is great on gas. EPA rating of 25 - 32 does not give an accurate description at all. I get an average of 30 mpg in my Malibu, mostly secondary roads with a few stops here and there and about 40 mph speed. On the highway from a recent road trip I averaged 35 mpg.
