Pros:The Ranger is a solid value for the money. With the 4 cylinder and 5 speed transmission, mileage is an honest 22 MPG in the city. Mileage on the highway varies from 25 MPG to 28 MPG, with 26 MPG normal. Handling is good. The steering is quick and well balanced and the ride is pretty smooth for a small pickup.
