I've owned a 2004 for 3 years and drove the 2007 recently. The 2007 is noticibly quieter. It has a softer ride and has a very nice power increase. This vehicle does not ride like a car. It's tall, and heavy. Having said that I'll say the ride is as good as any and actually better than most of the "body on frame" SUV's. I find it very comforatable; both around town and on the road.
