I upgraded to a 03 Passat from a 2000 Jetta in 2006. The difference between the two is evident from as soon as you sit in the drivers seat. Standard rear sunshade is a very nice feature that is optional or not available in most other cars in its class. The leather interior is a must in any VW of course with heated seats.
