How much should it cost to have software updated?
I recently purchased a 2004 XC90 T6 and took it to my local Volvo dealer for inspection. FYI...The vehicle is no longer under warranty The guy told me the software for the ECM, TCM AND SRS SYSTEMS haven't been updated since production. Hey said the software isn't expensive ($25-$60) but there is labor cost involved. he hasn't yet given me a quote...
