If your xc90 isa 5 cylinder that is very unusual.BUT if you have a 6 cylinder, not too uncommon.The 6 cylinder xc90 uses a GM transmission,not too bad but I would take the aisin-warner trans (used in volvos for decades) over the gm trans. The left axle sometimes kills the trans, where a cap that...
