If you just had it serviced, it was supposed to be turned off by the dealer service department. Go back there and have them reset it.

Is a 1998 volvo v70 a good first car?
I know Volvo is a safe vehicle, but I have heard mixed reviews. I've heard that the v70 lasts a long time if taken care of. I've also heard that the maintenance is expensive. My parents currently have a 2001 model and it has a very smooth, comfortable ride. Thanks for the input.

1998 was the first year for the 70 series and that model was plagued with serious problems. Maintenance is expensive and components will fail that have never failed on any other car model. I speak from experience. There are better choices. Reference:Volvo owner and maintainer since 1968.
