Replacing bonnet hinges volvo v70 1999?
i need to replace the hinges on the bonnet what needs to be removed and how to do this, the car is a Volvo v70 1999 model this topic is not covered in the haynes manual

hi it not to hard .remove the bonnet struts ,remove the bonnet, the hinge should be held by two bolts. when replacing make sure you put them back on the makes left by the old ones .they leave a mark when painted if you put them back exactly you should be ok with the fit. hope that helps

Volvo v70 high idle problem?
My 1999 Volvo v70 is idling about 1500 when its on park & neutral & it stays high even the car is warmed up. Any ideas what the problem is & how to fix it ?

Check for vacuum leaks. Increased air introduction will cause increased idle speed. If you have a check engine light on, read the code. If no codes check the intake to air cleaner tube along with associated vacuum lines. Reference:Volvo experience.
