D is Drive - transmission changes gears automatically. S is Sport - you move shifter up or down to change gears.

What do you think about the 2008 Toyota Highlander?
I really don't like the styling on this one. Toyota must have a really plain vanilla design team for their SUV division. The new RAV4 and Highlander are just so boring to look at! I miss the concept Highlander design that they showed awhile back!
