Auto problem. Subaru Legacy, 2009?
I bought brand new car Subaru Legacy and was driving it for 9 months. Today a dealership told me that I need a new engine. I changed oil-engine with a friend, not with a dealer, was driving a car after that a week and "check engine" light came out. The dealer said "Manufactured warranty doesn't work" in that case and I have to pay $5,000 for a new...

I would have to wonder what on earth you did when changing the oil that caused such a problem? You didn't say what the dealer said was wrong with it, so I have to guess that you either left off the drain plug or the filter and ran the car without oil. In that case, your warranty certainly will...

2009 Subaru Legacy SE(lease) vs 2009 Accord coupe LX-S?
I'm going for automatic. Legacy would be a lease for 24 months. Accord would be a purchase. Assuming I can get good deals on both cars(good lease on legacy, good price for the accord), whats the better way to go? The Legacy has a lot of standard features(moonroof, premium audio system, AWD) Looks sporty for a sedan. Not as attractive as the honda...

The legacy is a great car, and I would say all models of it are better than an Accord, just because you get a very high quality, capable and reliable car. Although the AWD will detract significantly from fuel economy. But SERIOUSLY. The turbo version (GT trims), are well worth the price, and will...

The Altima and Passat are both sporty mid-size sedans that have very attractive, comfortable interiors, though the Altima isn't available with all-wheel drive and the Passat only offers it with the more expensive V-6 model.

The Audi A4 is a more formidable alternative, with its fuel-efficient 2.0T powertrain, quattro all-wheel drive, and very attractive, upscale interior.

Finally, Volvo and Subaru buyers have long overlapped, and the Volvo S60 has several sensible and attractive all-wheel-drive models.

Neither of them offers performance like the GT Spec.B, but the S60 has a better ride and more comfortable interior.

With its standard all-wheel drive and more of a reputation for performance than for being a bread-and-butter family vehicle, the 2009 Subaru Legacy competes with some of the more exciting-to-drive mid-size sedans, along with the most affordable of the European sports sedans.

Both the S60 and the Legacy are due to be replaced next year.
