There are kits to turbocharge it. However, you should remember that the engine was not designed for boost internally, so dont go more than say 5 pounds of boost. A different version of the 2.2L used in the legacy was turbocharged. That version is designed for turbocharging, and turbocharging it...

The airbag is most likely held on with screws or other hardware accessable from the back of the steering wheel. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY when doing this, to avoid any chance of the airbag deploying into your face. After that, you're going to need a steering wheel puller, available for under 20 bucks...
