ok it could be different things but before you cough up the money try cliping on both front seat belts if not there shood be a sort of sensor under the passanger seat check if it's connected right also if you recently took of the seat belts you probably disconnected a wire thats there it sends a...

it can be done, but wouldnt be a comfortable at all with a lot of rubbing and your rims would get damaged really easily... here is pic with xB with 20s http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t41183.html here is a post for the 2nd gen xB 20s on fron and 22s in the back...
