Problems with cruise control on 2004 Pontiac Montana.?
Just wondering if this is a common problem and what it may be. We are taking it in tomorrow to get looked at and I want to brace myself. Hopefully it is a cheap fix. It just stopped working one day. The brake lights were out and the cruise control wouldn't work without them. Very cheap fix!

There are three things that I would check; 1) Stop lamp switch adjustment. 2) All stop lamp bulbs including CHMSL (center high mount stop lamp) or third brake light.
