Hi, I've got a 2000 Silhouette minivan with rear AC. Every time I turn it on, the AC fuse will blow after just a few seconds. Is it possible that the compressor is shorting, causing this to happen? Has anyone else experienced this?

unplug the compressor @ the compressor. if it stops blowing the fuse , the clutch coil is probably shorted. Reference:30+years auto/boat tech
