ok so I bought the headlight bulbs to a 2003 Olds bravada thinking it was like all the other headlights I've changed (twist and pull) but noooo! looks like I have to remove the whole headlight assembly and have tried but looks like I almost broke some things. can someone shed some light on the correct procedures please?

Not sure...but, look to see if there are two (for each light) very long screws holding the entire headlight assembly in place. If so, remove both screws and the head light assembly should come right out...making the bulb more accessible to replace. If not, check with your local GM dealer...or at...
