Hello, the fuel filter is non serviceable and is located in the gas tank. You no longer have to replace it as a maintenance. good luck

I know very little about cars except put gas in it and change the oil every 3 months. I would like to check all the fluids in my car and need to know where the thing is for transmission fluid. Where is it?

I cannot resist pull on your car's thingy and the car will follow you any where. Transmission fluid Dip stick is just to the left of the motor and has a special release you push in to get the stick out. I am sure you Nissan dealer will help you understand your car. And that neglected owners hand...
