A small price increase for the 2009 will get you a few additional features in option packages such as DSC. Overall there's not much difference, a few new colors to choose from but technically it's the same car. Reference:www.miniusa.com

The 2009 MINI Clubman is small, but it's not a garden-variety subcompact like a Ford Focus or a Toyota Corolla.
It has a distinctly sporty feel that places it apart from those other on-a-strict-budget vehicles.
