They both have very similar horsepower, yet completely different engines and prices. No, I cannot afford either of these. I am just curious which performs better and why their prices are so different.

the SL has about 517 horses while the SLR has about 612 horses. the SLR or the Sports Light Racing can go up to 340 km/h, while the SL or probably the Sports Light can go up to only 155 mph because of the electronically limited feature in every fast Merc.
