What type of gas should I use for my 2003 MazdaSpeed Protege (Turbo)?
I have been using 87. I think thats the super unleaded grade gasoline. My mechanic told me to switch to 89. Is that safe, and good for the car? I don't know a lot about the gasoline that cars need. So any tips or advice would be awesome. Thanks! :)

It depends what it is tuned for, but generally any turbo car should be running premium gas(91 or 93). It costs maybe $3 extra a tank to go premium and you are not risking detonation then. Ramon you can think what you want but your car is not sensing you have put in a lower grade fuel and...
