The Mazda 3 will be redesigned for 2009. They will be hitting the dealerships in January 2009. The redesigned Mazda 6 will be released later in the fall this year. There is going to be a mid year change on the Mazda 3, and they will be hitting the dealerships next month. My Mazda Rep just came in...

The Honda Civic could be the Mazda 3's closest competitor in terms of quality and on-the-road character.
