I have a 2005 CLK 320...and I'd like to switch out my bumper for a 2008 style bumper....how do I go about it?
I noticed that the 2005 and 2008 CLK are identical except for the bumper. I like the bumper I have now but I'd like to upgrade it , so that it looks more like the 2008-09 CLK. I figured instead of buying a whole new car...I should just switch out the bumper and then it will look just like the 2008 version. I only have 57,000 miles which is not...

you would need to order in an after market bumper unless you are lucky enough to find one at a wrecker. this is not something MB would do for you, as they do not approve of any model being altered to look like another. you would be hard pressed to get any help from your local MB dealer on this...

Has anyone put a big block chevy into a 57 post?
im looking for people who have put a BBC into a 57 chevy post, so the less quess work for me!

2 main problems you'll run into is you must notch the firewall to make room for the passenger side valve cover. You also need to install the radiator on the opposite side of the rad mount. This involves custom mounting brackets. Headers are a hassle and shortys are you best choice, installed before...
