2007 C6 conversion to a 1957 Corvette?
Hiya, I have this wild hair that I want to take a brand spankin new 2007 C6 and convert it to look like a classic 1957. Are there any kits out there? Or am I going to need to manufacture the body panels myself? Is it perhaps easier to restore a 57 and then upgrade engine, tranny, breaks, computer, the works? I found a kit for a 53 with a C5 donor...

There are a couple conversions for C5's...I'd assume that the people behind it are working on a C6. http://www.crcoachworks.com/index.phtml there is another that looks like a '53, but the name of the company escapes me. A guy in the local club has one of the '53's.
