2003 Mitsubishi Spyder, 71k Miles is that good?
I'm looking at a 2003 Mitsubishi Spyder, it has 71k Miles on it and they want between $6,500 and $7,000. Is 71k miles on a 6 year old car good? How many miles do these cars usually last?

Check the Kelley Blue Book for approximate value based on miles and options. 71 k isn't bad anymore, like it used to be. I have a 97 Mitsubishi Galant ES that has 177k this month and I plan on having it through it's 200k mark. Take it, if you can, to a mechanic you trust for a look over for...

We have a 2003 Mitsubishi Spyder Conv. and when you step on it the engine makes a gurgling sound right side.?

Fuel pump, o2 sensor etc. etc. any ideas what it could be?!? great answers you are correct. though when the car is sitting and you punch the acceleration it does not make this sound. Only does it make this sound when there is load bearing on the engine. HIgher RPM's is...

It sounds like engine "knock" or "pre-ignition" as it will only occur under load. Try switching to a high octane fuel and see if it goes away. You may have to get the timing checked as well, too much advance will also cause this....... good luck! Reference:Mechanic 15yrs
