The overdrive button won't engage on my 1997 Lincoln Town Car. What could the problem be?
My transmission shifts all other gears fine. I have a flashing indicator that says"OD Off" and the button that engages it won't work. What could it be?

The speed sensor might be going bad or the overdrive solenoids. The blinking light means a fault code is detected with your trans. It needs a code reader to tell you what is the error/fault. The dealer can tell you (UGH!) or a reputable transmission shop, be careful to find out which code it is...
