Is there a difference b/w 1999-2002 v6 Lexus gs300 engines?
I have a 1999 gs300 and want to put a short ram intake on it. But a majority of of the ones I find online are from 2001 and above? I looked into the engine for a 01-02 and they look identical to the 1999... what are, if any the difference from the 99 GS300?

There is no real difference in the two engines. There are not V-6 engines though, they are L-6 engines(inline 6, not v shaped). The short ram intake should fit it just fine if it is too a different year. The only difference if any would be the MAF sensor Reference:10+ Years ASE...

hello im looking at a 2002 lexus gs 300 it has 99000 miles on it and there asking for 12500 i was told to check the water pump and timing belt how much does it cost for a new timing belt and if i put a thousand dollars into the car is there anyway it would run for another maybe 90000 miles thanks
