The three German sportscars in the XK's class each have distinct appeal.

The Mercedes-Benz SL roadsters sport a folding hardtop and available AMG versions with more than 600 hp, while the BMW 6-Series has a fabric convertible top and a 500-hp M6 edition.

The Porsche 911 comes in Targa and Cabriolet versions, as well as Turbo form.

The Cadillac XLR has a supercharged option like the Jaguar, but its folding hardtop and angular body have a different appeal.
