Are Jaguar X'Type's reliable?
hey guys, i've been wanting a luxury car for long time and i can't decide between 3 cars, the Lexus IS250, BMW 5 Series and Jaguar X-Type? So far the Lexus is out. So now its between the 5 series and jaguar, but are jaguar reliable cars? Can you take them to a Ford dealership since they are own by Ford? any other information would be great. Thanks

Jaguars even the newer ones I have seen still have electrical problems and are expensive to repair. Ford may or may not work on them but Ford doesn't own them any more as they were sold to TA TA motors of India.along with Range Rover.....ujn

I have an X-type 2.0 v6 sport 52 plate. What are it's most common failures?
X-types have a bit of a rep for bad reliability Most problems i find people talking about online are in relation to the 4 wheel drive version. Mine is a manual 2wd. Does this mean i've picked one that is less likely to give me expensive problems? What is most likely to fail on my model? Note: 2002 model @ 60k miles
