If it has AWD it is electronic and automatic so it comes on when you need it. There should be a lock-in SWITCH also but I don't know where

2005 Honda Pilot or 2005 Hyundai santa Fe?
Right now my friends parents are looking at both of these. They like the Pilot more, but his mom doesn't think that his dad needs to drive such a big car to work back and forth everyday, His sister took their 2005 honda accord to college.

I would agree that the Pilot is the better vehicle, but it also is more expensive so that makes sense. I agree with your mom, both of these are too big and expensive to maintain just to use as a commuter vehicle. For the same money he can buy a new Hyundai Elantra and he'll save a ton of money on...
