It is connected to the Evaporative Emissions Canister, which is mounted on the passenger side of the gas tank just between the gas tank and the passenger side rear wheel. It's NOT in the engine compartment at all. Reference:http://www.insightcentral.net/encyclopedia/enrvr.html
