I need to know whether I should go with synthetic or regular oil. I'm looking for maximum performance and engine protection. Also, what name brand/ type to you recommend? Oh and the car is completely stock, no bolt-ons/ aftermarket parts

I would go with Synthetic, or at least a blend. In order to keep the engine cleaner, longer go with synthetic. The few extra dollars per quart is worth it, as your engine will give you better gas mileage and run longer. I would go with Mobil 1 or Royal Purple. Check your owners manual for the...
