What people are asking about this car
What is the transmission fluid capacity of a 2008 Yukon Hybrid?
I mistakenly drained the tranny fluid and know have no idea what the capacity is. Nothing about the transmission is stamped under the hood. All the dipstick says is how much is needed.

yeah make sure you go to the gm dealer and buy the recommended grade of fluid and ask the trannys capacity before you go putting in the wrong stuff and risk losing your warranty some dealers just look for reasons not to approve repairs.

When I purchased it the dealer told me the rear door/hatch was aluminum and no power lift was available as a weight saving move on the hybrid models. They didn't tell me any of the rest of the body was...

Only the hatch is made of aluminum. The rest of the body is made of steel. There is no difference between the body of a hybrid or gas powered Yukon, Suburban, Escalade etc... They are all the same. Reference:collision center manager

Why should I also consider these? X

If you need a rugged and supremely capable full-size SUV, the 2008 GMC Yukon should be on your list.

The big GMC offers a wider choice of engines than the Ford Expedition, and the differences in performance are notable.

However, the Ford performs well, and TheCarConnection.com's editors appreciate its comparatively more responsive handling.
