HOW TO CHANGE OUT SPARK PLUGS ON A 2004 GMC SAVANA 6.0?
i noticed a heat shield over the spark plug, will i need to remove this first and then the plug ?

You shouldn't have to remove a heat shield to remove the spark plugs. Best chance you have is going through the wheel well to remove them. You'll have to take out the splash guards, and yourself a 3' extension (to make things easy) and a set of swivel sockets to really make it simple...
