Hello, I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy that came with a rear hitch and tow haul button for towing. I doesn't have a plug connector on it. I need to install a brake controller and plug connector. I bought the 6-pole connector kit but I don't know what to buy other than the controller. If it came with the tow package shouldn't the wiring already be there?...

You would think the wiring would be there. Did you buy it used? Maybe the previous owners took it off. There should be a wiring kit you can get that plugs in between the tail light wiring harness around one of the rear corners of the bed. You just unplug it, and plug each side into the kit...
